Dairy-Free Chocolate Milk

Where are my chocolate lovers? 

Here's a simple recipe for those who are sensitive to dairy products, but would love to enjoy a nice glass of chocolate milk. Or if you're trying to be more health conscious but can't fulfill your chocolate craving. This is for you! 

Serves 2

Ingredients:

- 2 tsp's of 100% Organic Cocoa powder

- 5 Medjool Dates  (*It's best to buy them un-pitted and removing the seed yourself. Pitted dates contain fragments of the seed and it's not pleasant when you come across it while drinking.)

- 2 cups of water or one 16oz bottle of water. 

- One handful of Dry Roasted, unseasoned, Almonds OR 1 tsp of Organic, dry roasted almond butter. 

Recipe: 

Place all ingredients in a high-powered blender and blend on high for 1-2 minutes. Almond pieces will remain in the milkshake. If you'd like a smoother drink, use the almond butter instead. Enjoy!
